Hello, friend!

My name is Cristian Hernandez—it’s great to meet you! In my professional career I’ve worn many hats—and I’ve loved every second of it (plus it’s cool to rock more than one hat).

I’m a seasoned Technical Writer with 5 years of experience. In addition to technical writing, I’ve had the chance to work on projects that have stretched my skills in UX writing, storytelling, copywriting, and content strategy.

My passion and drive come from being human-centered. Whether in word (literally) or deed, everything I do comes from a place of thinking of the human I’m interacting with. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved getting to laugh with others and help them however I can. This continues today and has guided my professional career. All the writing I do is for the person on the other end reading it. Accessible, inclusive, understandable, clear—these are the characteristics I ensure all my copy has.

I love improving and expanding my writing skills. From creative to plain language, communication excites me to no end. So yes—as a writer, I don’t fit in a box, and I don’t ever want to. Life is about growth and learning, and I never want to stop.
